10 of My Own Quotable Quotes – Part 8

1. No matter how deep and wide your wisdom can be, there are things your mind can not predict / deduce such as your number of days here on earth. Life is too short to be lived MISERABLY and PURPOSELESSLY. Without PURPOSE and VISION, you are just living in the flesh but carrying an R.I.P tag. (Rest in Peace). One can have real working eyes yet remain blind, with no vision; just existing and occupying space. It is a lot better not to have physical vision and yet carry a mental picture of your DESTINY than to have both eyes and yet your tongue exposes lack of PURPOSE. Celebrate your greatness and significance today, even though it may not be evident.

2. Life is a journey not a destination, a marathon not a 100m dash. Living for today is catastrophic for the next generation and those after in that we may not have anything called the future generation. For any ideals, customs, morals and ethics to be passed on it takes determination and perseverance of the former generation.

3. A huge bank balance or asset register is never more important than your MIND balance (COGNITIVE POWER). Reason is that you can always CREATE wealth when you increase in WISDOM. Wisdom Deficiency always seeks to push you against the wall of poverty and lack.

4. Every invention started off as a THOUGHT or an IDEA which was developed into real, tangible products. No significant inventions were successful on first attempt. They restarted hundreds of times and yet their fruits have been enjoyed in many generations.

5. You do not exist just to occupy space, to watch time fly by, or just to applaud other people’s success. Your birth right has greatness all over it. It takes moving from “I can’t” to “I can” in thought and confession. Remove your personalized barricades and branded limitations which in error give other people more access to possibilities than you.

6. When darkness meets light, darkness gives way, when CONFUSION collides with ORDER, confusion dissipates, when SMALL THINKING meets GREATNESS, the lesser conforms. If you carry GREATNESS in you then you cannot stagnate or lose battles.

7. There are as many solutions as do the challenges presented to you. We sometimes get caught up in the challenge and ignore or suppress the solutions that get presented to us. It is easier to keep magnifying the challenge and not look on the brighter side, where the SOLUTION is.

8. The main difference between a success story and a non-achiever lies in the level of willingness and readiness to take RISKS. All major success stories worth mentioning had a large degree of risk attached to them. Risk of being labeled a failure, financial risk, risking time with friends and family. Before you walk the road less traveled be prepared to COUNT THE COST. If you do not prepare yourself you run the risk of quitting before accomplishment.

9. It is interesting to note that two individuals put in the same situation or condition will bring about two different outcomes. One of them chooses to accept the condition as is and becomes comfortable in it by adjusting his/her life to suit the condition (conformer). The other assesses the condition and finds means and ways to change the situation around for his/her benefit (transformational thinker). It’s a perception issue.

10. There is nothing worse than being let down by your very own support system, your family. You expect a family to help you see your dreams come true, celebrate your success, inject encouragement, finances and care when you need it the most. Sometimes close family members feel that you are worthy eliminating because of the competitiveness in every one of us. Close family hurts the most because they do it at close range.
