Ever consider what would have to happen, for that statement to ring true? Why, it would take next to a miracle to bring about a healing that would cause our leaders to want to work together and yet we know, healing happens when you want it to, as with anything else, you can hold on to a dream and focus on it, putting energy toward its happening, actions will follow the focus until you see it happen.
Healing for a nation can be just like the healing of an individual. When you decide that you want a thing to happen, it will, it may take time, but it will happen.
When this Country decides it wants to bring unity to its ranks, it will. Remember, the Senate is filled with people, who have been elected to office, the House likewise, is filled with those who have been voted into office.
How would you like to see America unite? Not a bad idea at this time in the game, eh? If you want it badly enough, you will seek for the leaders to come into place who will bring about changes that will bring us closer to unity, because we desire it.
As with the healing one goes through, after a car accident, you will find yourself going through withdrawals for a while as you seek for the common ground on which to settle the disagreeable areas, but rest assured, if you believe, they will come. Focusing on the positive outcome of your efforts, because you know they are attainable, will help you to be more amicable toward those who are named by another name, than the name attached to your Political party.
Change can happen, will happen in fact, when we open our hearts toward others and love them as we love ourselves. If we were to stop focusing on the failures of others, pray for their best, seek to help them accomplish their greatest achievements, help them to become all that they can and were meant to be, we will find ourselves promoting America as a land of the free, home of the brave, united together for the common good of all.
