Does Anyone Have Any Advise on How to Get My Self Motivated Do Do Some Work in University?

I started in September and I am struggling a lot,although my friends seem to be doing well I just seem to end up watching rubbish on my computer until the small hours . I haven't missed any lectures though.Its really getting me down I mean I have every intention to work but I don't manage to follow through with my plans.
