No suggestions about any pills or surgery. I rather workout without any influence of these things, I'm in no rush.
Suggestion:
It sucks when you go in to a gym where there are lots of people who have been working out a long time. You might consider switching to a smaller gym. Lots of community centers have gyms, and there's a wider variety of people and not so many really dedicated athletes, haha. I had to do that myself because I couldn't stop comparing myself to the slim girl sprinting on the next treadmill over while I was sweating while walking. And switch to some outdoor activities too if you have the time…going for walks, for instance. You'll burn the same amount of calories if you walk one mile as you would if you ran one mile, and while running is faster, walking does the trick!
And come up with a way to reward yourself every time you do work out. You don't want it to end up being another chore on your list! It could be pretty much anything you enjoy…like I'll fill the tub with hot water and take a bubble bath after I work out or soak my feet with a salt bath.
Sometimes it helps me to take a friend along. And most of my friends won't turn down an opportunity to walk the dogs in the park!

well…you could go out and buy yourself a new outfit in the size that you want to get to and take yourself out when you finally fit the outfit…
when it's like that, the key to being motivated is not to think about it. you dont leave it up to your brain to decide. your brain will try to negotiate and buy time. it's sort of like the cheapskate in the whole deal, whose holding out on you for a better deal and doesn't wanna spend the money..
your body must do it and your brain has to follow. your brain will btch n complain but shut it off if you have to. it's just not allowed to have a say sometimes, when it comes down to it, your feet are the ones that're gonna get you there.
