The personal statement is for university, I hope to study business (this may help)
Suggestion:
Your personal statement is the first opportunity you have to talk directly to the university about your skills and why you want a career in business.
Drawing attention to your particular skill set is crucial, and qualities such as motivation, commitment and clear communication are essential for your career. The university will expect to see that you understand the subject area you are applying for, and that you intend to pursue a career in that field.
You can demonstrate each of your qualities in your personal statement by giving a practical example of how you acquired and / or effectively implemented every one of your skills. For example, if you have already worked in a job you can draw upon your experience of handling a tricky customer with a positive outcome, or how your proactive approach averted a stock shortage etc. It's up to you to draw on your previous experience and give relevant backup to every skills you list in your personal statement.
