How Can I Stay Motivated to Work Out?

I am 19 and recently I have started looking a little softer than I'd like. I like the IDEA of working out but in general it is hard to find the inspiration to actually DO it. I am hoping someone could share how they keep motivated to work out and stay active!

Suggestion:

It's easier to to keep doing something you actually like to do. You can swim, dance, walk a dog, play any sports, or do any other typical workout with a friend.
