How Do You Motivate Yourself When You Are Soooo Tired Of…?

cleaning the same messes every day……cooking the same foods week after week……
I'm stuck in a rut. What do YOU do to motivate yourself when you feel this way?

Suggestion:

I leave it for 2 or 3 days and do something different. I just got wi fit plus and that's been my new hobby. My husband is also getting me rosetta stone to learn spanish because I just really need something new to do. I swear I do dishes and laundry all day every day. And follow behind my son and pick up stuff. I have to work extra hard for a day, but sometimes just leaving it helps. A few dirty dishes and a few toys in the floor won't kill anyone.

The old fashioned way, get horribly drunk . . .

Do something different.

Open a cookbook and make something new.

Instead of staying home to have messes there, go out and have messes out somewhere else.

I consider myself lucky enough to have a home to clean and a family to cook for. Try something small like a new recipe or a picnic at the park. It's the little things in life that make a big difference sometimes=)

I try and think about the importance of what I'm doing versus the consequence of not doing it. In addition, I remind myself that sometimes it's okay to take a break. When there are essential things that must be done that you're tired of doing, it may be helpful to switch up your routine. For example, you could try cooking some new recipes and play music while you clean the house. That should break some of the monotony. Good luck!
