to get motivated to go for the run:
think of all the benefits, examples are,"its healthy", "even if your not over weight it slims down body fat, and for guys makes muscles more visible", "if you run for a track team think about how it will benefit your time for whatever event you do", "also if you're on a team, think of how great it would be to be the star, and bring your team to victory." and lastly " if you don't run you'll let yourself down, which is the worst thing that can happen"
get motivated to continue to run:
what I always do is think of huge glasses of ice water, because Im always so thirsty. , but sense im a guy, i dream about rock hard abs, and how I can go to the beach, maybe hit on some girls, always good fun (:
make sure to drink plenty of water!
