How do you feel when you have an anxiety attack? Well, your heart beats like a drum and your hands feel wet and clammy are a couple of clues. Stress is the normal way our body deals with the tensions of day to day life. Think of how you respond to fear and then look at the questions below. You may be suffering from anxiety disorder if you have answered in the positive to these questions.

3. Do you constantly have unfounded fears?
4. Are you always worrying about your future?
5. Are you experiencing unexpected attacks of suffocation, anger or apprehension?
By answering positively to any of these questions, you could be suffering from anxiety attacks.
When anxiety or panic attacks occur, they come on suddenly and last for a few terrifying minutes but may seem like an hour. There doesn’t seem to be a real identifiable trigger which starts the attacks. Many people say they have usually been under long periods of stress before the panic attack.
Coping with anxiety attacks can be seriously crippling to the patient even though they may only last from ten minutes to half an hour. That’s because the physical symptoms are as frightening as a heart attack which has many of the same symptoms.

You may also want to check out your mental well being by consulting with a psychologist. Just bear in mind that everyone has stress in their life at some point. The important thing to remember is to get your stress levels under control. Evaluate your life to determine if your fears are taking over your life to the exclusion of everything else.
