I Have a Student Council Speech Tomorrow and I Want to Start with a Story Which is Funny Yet Inspirational?

so the story should be something like back in the day blah blah (something funny) and then since that time i admire that person the most and want to be like him..can anyone help me soon pleasee??

Suggestion:

Please don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like you might be trying a little bit too hard.

You want to be "funny yet inspirational" and you mentioned that you want to talk about someone who you admire and want to be like. I'm assuming that you've already identified this person – if so, start a list of the qualities you admire about him, and use that to build on.

Don't focus on "funny and inspirational" for now – these are somewhat vague goals. Instead, think about the key qualities this person possesses that you want your listeners to take away from your talk. Then think about how you realized this person had those attributes – what did he say or do that made you feel he is inspiring? That's your story – a concrete example or examples of why this person is worth imitating. It doesn't have to be particularly funny to be effective, but if that's your goal, it'll be easier to accomplish once you've identified some specific examples to work into your speech.

(Sorry, that's all I've got – your question is difficult to answer without more information on the topic of your speech.)
