Excluding the bible. If you have, do you recall the book's title and/or how it changed your life?
Suggestion:
The first was "A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23." Simply written, as are all his books, this was given to me after a surgery while I was in the hospital. I thought it was pretty dumb to give a person on pain killers something to read! As though I could….
But it was simply and clear and I was stunned at the depth of meaning that any shepherd would recognize in Psalm 23. I came out of it loving God more.
And so I read another of his books: "Lessons from a Sheep Dog." That one had an even more profound effect on me and the way I live my life. I taught me, very gently, about focus and obedience to Christ.
Keller died a few years ago, I think. He is someone I want to thank in heaven. Those two books are quite remarkable. Both short, both easy to read — and both, for me, life-changing.

I read a book called "Raising Your Spirited Child", that really helped me become a better parent:

I also read "Notes Left Behind" about a little 6-year-old girl who dies from brain cancer. It inspired me to never take my children for granted.

Heaven by Randy Alcorn was truly inspirational. It answered so many questions and made me want to re-kindle my relationship with God.
I know it sounds cheesy, but you should at least read it.
I think The Hiding Place by Corrie Tin Boom was very inspirational as well. It's the true storry of Corrie, who was a Holocaust survivor. She wrote this book herself, about her life. She hid Jews inside her home and was eventually caught, along with her family. She risked everything. She is truly remarkable.. read her book.
