The wisdom of life is enlightened behind man’s labor and strife with this quote: “Work hard…save money and be rich… for when you die… you shall bring nothing!”
Indeed, man shall die. Soon, and anytime from now… you’ll die! Me, too shall die… and everybody will die. For death is like a stray bullet that hits anybody at anywhere at any hour.
And in death…where is your fame? Where is your money? Where is your treasure? Where were the kings and emperors, the riches and the famous who once lived in this world years ago? Where were they now? Where have all their boasts and pride been placed now?
They’re gone… like a dust in the wind…they were all blown away!
So…you still want to be great?? You think it’s the greatest investment of life –knowing that after all your efforts have exhausted just to become rich and famous, you still end up with empty hands?
You want to follow the footprints they had left…and at the end….vanity!? Vanity! Vanity! Vanity!— a wise man sees it! It would be more fool and silly for a man who cannot see the destiny of those who already gone, yet, still follow the road they traveled where the endpoint is— vain.
Foolishness…is it? Do you think you’re a great investor of putting your capital into nothing?
So what’s really the greatest investment of all time?
The Wisdom of Life hath seen this: “Fool you are who strives to be great in this world…yet, at the end everything shall disappear.”
“For what profit is he to get of owning this world, yet, at the end he shall yield to death?” For if fame..and richness shall make one invincible and immune from death..then the world should envy him.. but in death…. death….. death…you shall be empty!!
Do you still want to be great? You want to be the wisest investor to invest with the greatest investment of all time?
Yes! God wants you to be great..but NOT in this world.
“For if one will love the world… he may become an enemy of God” and “and if the world will love you….and even worship you…. you are not His.”
For in this world…is a devil’s throne….. who owns everything that glitters…its desires…the pride of life… and the lusts of the flesh…..he shall corrupt anybody to capture and be put under his control.
“For you may be great in this world.. but you are certainly a dirty rag in His sight… and at the end…. you will face the worst destiny… and find yourself in the bottomless pit of vanity!”
So, How can one become great? Real great of having the greatest investment of all time?
The Wisdom sayeth… “For Anyone among you who wants to be great…let him be a servant!”
Not a servant as a politician… nor a servant in a business establishment…nor a person who serves to gain or profit with the world, but be a servant- to do all the things for God’s glory! (even if the world shall forsake and reject him). “For if one will do something for God’s glory…it is foolishness in the sight of the world. Likewise, “what is valued and treasured in this world… is vanity and abomination in God’s sight”
So…it’s your choice by which your greatest investment may depend:
1. To be great in this world but a filthy rag in GOD’s sight? (Note: here in this world, the reward is fast and enormous, yet, shall be blown away at the end!)
Or
2. To be like a ‘fool’ and silly in doing things for GOD’S glory..especially during this internet and digital age. Humility–in a servanthood is tested. The reward may be too late…yet, everlasting!
At its final precept, the greatest investment of all time reflects on this Words of Wisdom:
“Those who are ashame to be identified as His – shall also be rejected to be called as His true and faithful children. If you deny Him, you shall also be denied!
All things will fade, but there’s only one thing remains- when time comes we lie down from the bed of our grave-waiting for the greatest profit from our greatest investment of all time:our FAITH and HOPE in CHRIST for an EVERLASTING LIFE!
