What Do You Do to Motivate Yourself?

I'm kinda losing focus on what I'm doing, sometimes. So ya, anything special?

Suggestion:

I hate looking stupid in front of other people, so when I have to get things done I create deadlines that I have to stick to because otherwise other people will see my failure.

For instance, I am doing something at work at the moment that I am not enjoying and finding it difficult to focus on so I have arranged a meeting on Monday with my boss when I will present the results of my work.

Similarly, when I was trying to lose weight, I arranged to go on a beach holiday with some friends. Nothing motivates more than the fear of looking terrible in a bikini.

Another tip is the egg timer approach. Give yourself a 30 minute stint at working without distractions and put a timer n your watch. After the alarm goes off, you must stop and do something else for 5 minutes. Then set the timer and start again. Soudns silly, but it really helps me. Otherwise I just end up doing 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there and getting distracted.

drink coffee in the morning, take a multi vitamin with breakfast, eat at regular times 7-12-5, do things i enjoy, watch the sugar…

meditation might work

I'm a music lover. And this works even if you're not. Try listening to jumpy music…fast songs that might get you dancing and happy. And try to focus on the lyrics. Listen to it everyday at least and if you can, work while your music is playing.

If that does'nt work, think of all the things that can go wrong if you don't do that thing you're supposed to do. So it's basically psychology… :D

There's nothing special on motivating oneself. I just don't turn my sight out of my objective and my goal. Just go straight and have a very focus attention on what you're doing. By doing that, you will notice the development.

Wake up and pray

First develop a feeling that you are already motivated…Then apply any measures suggested

losing focus to often comes from to much sugar and salt in diet.

detox will improve you.

Coffee OK, yahoo answers, meditation, walk… they all good methods
