Why Am I Not Mentally Motivated to Loosing This Weight?
Okay so I am 50lbs overweight and my clothes are extremely tight. This is the heaviest Ive ever been and I feel like crap. I really want to loose it however my body is too lazy and I am not mentally motivated to do so. I am slowly falling into a depression and have no strenght to do anything about it. I am only 27 married and three kids. Can someone suggest how to dig myself out of this weight?
Suggestion:
Think about what motivates you in life.
Lets say, it's your kids.
So do it for them. When they grow up or as they get older do you want to be the mother that is in-shape and inspires them to do the same? Or do you want to be the icon that shows them overeating isn't a problem because Mom does it? (I'm not trying to be mean, just realistic observations)
You need a driving force to jump start your new attitude.
Best of luck!

well if you want your man to worship your *** every time he sees it lose that weight youre not mentally motivated because you subconscious dosent really want to, but its really easy to fix that.
if you wanna be depressed and feel that pain for the REST of your life dont lose one single pound in fact gain more, but if you want to feel like your mind is at peace please your self by doing the things you normally feel you woudnt be able to do i.e loosing weight or any other personal goals you have then you will be able to say to yourself that youre the kind of person who can finish anything you want because youve done it before nothing can impede you then, you will be at the top of your game :]
I learned a couple of weeks ago that excess weight is not always thanks to excess body fat, a load of unwanted weight is basically sitting around in your insides. I tested a new supplement that is taking the nation by storm, it flushes out your insides. I don't understand how it operates however I understand that I lost 17 lbs and five inches off my waist! Drink lot's of water eat healthy like you know add fruits and veggies to your diet. The water and healthy eating will give you energy. Also cut back on your calories. Do portion control. Going cold turkey without your favorite foods is hard. Probably the most you'll last is 2-3 days b4 you can't handle your unhealthy cravings like let's say a bag of chips. Instead of portion control having just a few you'll eat the whole bag maybe even two! I find it easier to use portion control than telling yourself NO. Take baby steps. Once you've got the portion control and healthy eating habits down and lots of water, add 30 minutes of exercising. Nothing extreme maybe a walk. Maybe try and cut out the unhealthy food this time and then add more exercise and so on like I said baby steps. Once the weight starts coming off it'll motivate you and you'll be out shopping for new sexy clothes…!
Well we have a lot in common. I am considered over weight too, and all my shirts are extremely tight, but that's because I'm buff.
Well we both have two goals, one of those are the same, but one is not.
Goal #1 you want to lose weigh, I want to gain weight.
Goal #2 we both want to get healthy.
Remember, sticking to a goal like that is a lifestyle. If you are going to do it you need to eat healthy, drink healthy, exercise, and think healthy. For me how it worked was, a buddy of mine suggested Gym, I went there like most people 3 times and wanted to quit, but my buddy told me no, try it for 3 month then quit. I did and when I seen results I started to enjoy it and stayed there. Also, my friend was my competition, so it made me train even harder.
Bottom line it would be best if you did it with someone, that will motivate you, or you guys can motivate each other,
Think of all the positive things about losing the weight – how you will feel, look, etc.
Start off slowly, just go for a 30 min walk every day, get into the habit of doing it and eventually you will find yourself enjoying it. Or if you don't enjoy walking, find something you do like – just get into the habit of it.
Same with the diet, slowly cut out the bad stuff.
Don't waste precious time on "miracle" diets etc – I speak from experience!
And don't dwell on not wanting to do it – the mind is very powerful and you can talk yourself into feeling weak and unmotivated.
